Let's do it again!! And let's invite the fellas this time! (^_^)
There's a set of 100 (actually 104) steps right off of Ridge Avenue (in Roxborough) that lead down to the Wissahickon. I thought it might be "fun" to run up and down them for a half hour as a sort of training exercise for hiking. I got this idea from my Bhutan trek guide: she said this is how she keeps in top-mountain shape during the non-trekking season.
Don't worry if you can't run! Neither can I right now: that's why we're training!!!! I have done this a few times before and can only "run" for about 10 minutes of it, then I walk up and down the rest of the time.
Anyway, let's meet here at 6 pm and try to run up and down the steps as many times as we can in a half hour.
Make sure you check your email before you leave work that day: If there are any weather related problems, I'll cancel via email.
