Everyone seemed to enjoy the last AT section we did, so I thought we would try another one! I have never hiked this section in its entirety, so we are going to explore together. And I'm certainly not an AT expert of any kind!

We'll start hiking at Port Clinton and end at Pine Swamp Road. This hike is 15 miles long and is rated strenuous because of some elevation gain and loss. This will be a long, tough hike, so think about that before you sign up. This hike will probably take 8-9 hours to complete, so it is definitely an all-day commitment.

Highlights of this section are the Pinnacle, Pulpit Rock, Hamburg Reservoir, and the Windsor Furnace Shelter.

This is a shuttle hike, which means we will have to place cars at both ends. We will meet at Pine Swamp Road, leave a car or two, and drive to the trailhead in Port Clinton together. Meet HERE at 9 am. We'll meet at the point labeled Pine Swamp Road Parking.

Bring the usual, water, food, good footwear. Be prepared for a looooong day.
